St. Louis, MO – In the wake of the devastating tornado that tore through parts of St. Louis, St. Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care Centers is stepping up to support the city’s hardest-hit communities. Though our center sustained no damage, we stand in solidarity with our neighbors, especially those in underserved neighborhoods who have lost homes, roofs, and access to daily essentials.

Starting today, St. Elizabeth’s is opening its doors as a community relief hub, collecting critically needed items and matching monetary donations to provide aid where it is most urgently needed.

“We believe in serving with heart, especially when our neighbors are hurting,” said Regina Marsh, Chief Executive Officer. “This isn’t just about dropping off donations. It’s about showing up for each other.”

What We're Doing

  • Serving as a Drop-Off Site for essential goods, including:

    • Bottled water (highly needed)

    • Hygiene kits & Baby supplies

    • Cleaning supplies, flashlights, utility knives, and tarps

  • Matching Every Dollar Donated up to $10,000
100% of donations will be directed toward families impacted by the storm in underserved neighborhoods.

  • Partnering with the 4theVille
All donated goods will be delivered directly to 4theVille, which will coordinate distribution to those in need.

Why It Matters

The tornado’s destruction did not fall evenly across our city. Entire blocks in historically marginalized neighborhoods were ravaged. This effort is not a one-time gesture—it is a part of St. Elizabeth’s ongoing commitment to equity, compassion, and community service.

“We know these streets. We serve these families every day,” said Marsh. “Now we’re asking all of St. Louis to help us serve even more.”
